Choose the right sock height
Choose the right sock height for your hiking shoes:- Short for low-profile comfort below the ankle- Medium to cover the ankle with low-cut shoes- High for added support with high-top footwear
The importance of choosing your socks well
Whether you're hiking in the forest, exploring the mountains, or walking daily, your feet endure pressure, friction, and sweat. Without proper protection, cold and discomfort can quickly set in.
How to choose the correct size
When choosing hiking socks, consider the duration, intensity, and terrain. For short walks, cotton socks work well. For longer or more technical hikes, go with breathable synthetic or merino wool options for optimal comfort.
How is the resistance measured?
Our engineers rigorously test each product—both in the lab and out in the field—for durability, abrasion resistance, and long-term wear. Every detail is checked to ensure lasting performance and your complete satisfaction.

Product Testing
All our socks are tested in the lab and in the field to validate the following: toxicology, UV resistance, resistance to abrasion, accelerated ageing and resistance to repeated washing. At the foot of the Mont Blanc, in France, our design team imagines, draws and designs Quechua socks. We take to the trails in all weathers, with other hikers, to make sure they're comfortable and hard-wearing.
